Asymmetric Rotating Disc Contactor (ARDC)

Asymmetric rotating disc contactor (ARDC) column is used as a countercurrent extractor. A liquid feed is contacted several times with an immiscible solvent that exhibits preferential affinity towards desired components.

Features

  • Reduction in the solvent to be handled because of effective extraction.
  • Lower foot prints.
  • Operate continuously.
  • Easy to operate and consistent results.

Applications

  • Separation of closing boiling points liquids because of lower relative volatility difference.
  • For purification of fine chemicals by removing impurities through extraction process.
  • Reduction in COD and BOD from wastewater by extraction of organic chemicals by solvents.

Manufacturing Capability

  • Capacity Offered by us 1 LPH to 1500 LPH
  • Designed to operate at a wide range of temperatures, i.e., 10°C to 100°C
  • Designed to withstand a pressure of Atm. to 3 bar(g)
  • Can be fabricated in SS304, SS316, HC-22 & HC-276
