Asymmetric Rotating Disc Contactor (ARDC)
Asymmetric rotating disc contactor (ARDC) column is used as a countercurrent extractor. A liquid feed is contacted several times with an immiscible solvent that exhibits preferential affinity towards desired components.
Features
- Reduction in the solvent to be handled because of effective extraction.
- Lower foot prints.
- Operate continuously.
- Easy to operate and consistent results.
Applications
- Separation of closing boiling points liquids because of lower relative volatility difference.
- For purification of fine chemicals by removing impurities through extraction process.
- Reduction in COD and BOD from wastewater by extraction of organic chemicals by solvents.
Manufacturing Capability
- Capacity Offered by us 1 LPH to 1500 LPH
- Designed to operate at a wide range of temperatures, i.e., 10°C to 100°C
- Designed to withstand a pressure of Atm. to 3 bar(g)
- Can be fabricated in SS304, SS316, HC-22 & HC-276
